Summary: There are many common myths and misconceptions about transportation in Michigan, from why MDOT replaces "perfectly good" signs to why current funding levels aren't enough to keep roads and bridges in good condition. The Transportation Reality Check program takes on some of these myths, explains MDOT's performance across several categories, and why they do things the way they do. The campaign includes a website, social media presence, videos and fact sheets to illustrate its message and take-aways.
