Summary: Maryland SHA launched a solution using GIS technology to map and track data on water quality infrastructure assets that are built or planned by SHA. The focus of this is to plan, design, and implement water quality treatment strategies. The map-centric and centralized data management system supports executive decision making at the State, county and watershed levels. The map visualizations add value to all levels of executive and project communications, including outreach to citizens and external stakeholders.
