Resource type: Map, Photo/Image, ReportExternal link: Summary: As performance measures grow across the transportation industry, agencies are tasked with collecting, analyzing and communicating a growing amount of data. This report discusses historical methods of data collection, its limitations, and strategies put in place (i.e. Probe Data) to more efficienctly and widely collect congestion and mobility information on freeways throughout the state. Performance measures are compared between 2012-2013, and will be updated annually to help MDOT personnel understand conditions and make informed decisions on investments.
